Chetana Child Development Centre offers a wide range of products and services to cater to the varied requirements of their customers. The staff at this establishment were courteous and prompt in providing any assistance. As part of involvement in community engagement and social work, the Youth Red Cross (YRC) unit of our college organized an extension activity of paper bag making on October 29, 2025. The YRC volunteers participated in making paper bags from recycled newspapers and magazines and handed them over to differently-abled children. These centers provide special care, training, and rehabilitation for children with developmental challenges. This initiative was coordinated under the guidance of YRC Programme Officers Mrs. Roopashri K P and Mrs. Rashmi.
During the visit, our YRC volunteers collaborated with the students of the center in preparing paper bags. This activity is a part of the center’s vocational training program, where paper bag making helps the institution generate revenue to support its initiatives.
A team of 33 enthusiastic Youth Red Cross volunteers visited Chetana Child Development Centre Mangalore, successfully creating over 300 paper bags. The extension activity organized by the Youth Red Cross unit was a resounding success.
