The seminar on “Dreamers to Doers: Building the Next Generation of Entrepreneurs” was organized on March 31, 2026, at Lecture Hall No. 06 for the I BBA students with the objective of nurturing entrepreneurial skills and mindset.

The programme commenced with a warm welcome address by Mrs. Laxmi Hegde, Assistant Professor, Department of Business Administration, Canara College, Mangaluru. She introduced the topic and highlighted the importance of entrepreneurship in today’s dynamic world. The resource person for the session was Dr. Venkatesh Nayak, Lecturer, Department of PG Studies in Commerce, University College, Mangalore.

Dr. Venkatesh Nayak delivered an insightful and motivating session, emphasizing the importance of converting ideas into practical business ventures. He shared real-life examples, challenges faced by entrepreneurs, and the strategies required to overcome them. The session covered key aspects such as innovation, risk-taking, business planning, and financial awareness.

The seminar was interactive, allowing students to engage in discussions and clarify their doubts. The resource person also encouraged students to think creatively and take initiative in pursuing their entrepreneurial dreams.

The programme concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Mrs. Laxmi Hegde, expressing gratitude to the resource person and all participants for making the session meaningful and successful. Mrs. Priyanka, Assistant Professor, Department of Business Administration, Canara College, was present during the session. A total of 36 students benefited from this session.
