The programme Invest with Confidence: Demat Account Drive was organised on March 26, 2026 at 3.30 PM at Zerodha Office, Mangalore. A total of 38 M.Com students participated in this initiative, which was part of the EquiLearn Series (third activity of the series). The broad objective of the programme was to equip students with practical knowledge of securities trading and digital investment processes. The activity was coordinated by Mrs. Swathi Nayak, Mrs. Sneha Pai, and Mrs. Shwetha Pai, faculty members of the M.Com Department.
During the session, students successfully opened their Demat accounts, thereby gaining first-hand experience in transitioning from traditional paper-based investing to digital platforms. The programme emphasised the importance of financial preparedness and confidence in capital market participation, aligning with the academic and professional development goals of the Centre for Postgraduate Studies in Commerce.
