A programme on child right and protection was organised by the NSS unit of the college on February 7,2018 . 35 students participated in the programme. Educating students about the child rights, and sensitizing them about the issues was main intension of organising the programme. Shri Yogesh Maligemadu, Child line activist was the resource person. He enlightened the students with his experience in the field and gave practical examples to the students. Students raised many questions about the issue.
This programme has created awareness among the college students to protect the children and value the life of fellow human being. They felt the need to protect the life of a child and give them their right childhood.
