Group discussion was organized on February 7, 2018 in Room No 12. The students were divided into 8 groups consisting 8 members in each group. They were given various topics such as “Women or Women, new currency infusion, crypto currency, hyper loop v/s Bullet train, Campus to corporate life, experience v/s qualification, Swatch Bharath- Dream & Reality and awareness on women harassment”. They were also given 10 minutes preparation time to gather their thoughts. In the process of group discussion, the students’ skill, ability, communication skill and the knowledge on the topic was tested. 76 students actively participated in this session. 76 students participated in this session.
Group discussion helped students to increase their understandings and knowledge on various current issues of the society It also helped them in generating more ideas through exchange of their views. It helped in evaluating students thinking skills, listening abilities, communication skills and other soft skills
