The National Service Scheme (NSS) and Youth Red Cross Wing ofCanara College, in association with Indian Red Cross Society Blood Bank and Lions & Lioness Club Mangaladevi and Nethravathi had organized Blood donation camp in the college premises on 11 March 2017.
Mr.Kudupi Aravind Shenoy inaugurator & the chief guest congratulated the Management, The Principal and the students for coming forward to organize this event. The guest of honor, Mr. Devadas, President Lions Club appreciated the initiative taken up by the students and also assured to extend support for similar activities in the institution in the days to come . Dr. K.V Malini, Principal of the college congratulated the NSS and the Youth Red Cross team for having organized an event of social benefit and also assured to support for similar events. 54 units of blood were donated by the students. 92 students were enthusiastically participated in the event.
