The college celebrated Teachers’ Day on September 5, 2025, with great enthusiasm and reverence. The program began at 11.30 AM bringing together all faculty members and students to honor the invaluable contribution of teachers. The event commenced with a prayer song followed by the traditional lighting of the lamp. As a mark of respect and admiration, students presented roses to all the teachers expressing their gratitude and love.
All the teachers then offered flowers to the portrait of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan commemorating his birthday and honoring his remarkable contribution to education and philosophy. A heartfelt welcome speech was delivered by the student representative Mr. Sourav Salian of III BCom B followed by cultural performances including songs and dances dedicated to teachers. Fun games were also organized to add joy and engagement to the programme.
Our Principal Dr. Premalatha V. addressed the gathering, appreciating the dedication and hard work of the teachers in shaping students’ futures. Students also shared their experiences and thanked the teachers for their guidance and support. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks and refreshments for all. The celebration was a memorable and meaningful tribute to teachers, highlighting their influence, commitment and deep respect the command from students.
