The college celebrated Teachers’ Day on September 4, 2025, with great enthusiasm to honor the invaluable contribution of teachers in shaping the lives of students. The program was organized by the Students’ Council and held in the college premises.
The celebration began with a floral tribute to Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, whose birthday is commemorated as Teachers’ Day across the nation. The council members extended a warm welcome to all the teaching faculty by presenting roses as a token of respect and gratitude.
The formal program included a speech by Student Representative Mr. Sourav Salian, highlighting the significance of the day and the pivotal role played by teachers in nurturing knowledge, discipline, and values. Cultural performances by students added vibrancy to the celebration, showcasing their love and appreciation for the teaching fraternity.
On this occasion, Principal Dr. Premalatha V. addressed the gathering and emphasized the importance of mutual respect between teachers and students in building a healthy academic environment.
The celebration concluded with a vote of thanks followed by light refreshments, leaving everyone with cherished memories of the first formal Teachers ‘ Day Program at the college.
