Karthika Sanje was celebrated in our college on November 12th, 2025, with great devotion and enthusiasm. The program began with a graceful inauguration ceremony marked by the traditional lighting of the lamp. Our correspondent Sri. CA M. Jagannath Kamath, Manager Sri. Shivanand Shenoy, Principal Dr. Premalatha V. and the administrator Dr. Deepthi Nayak were present for the inaugural programme. The correspondent delivered the presidential address, highlighting the cultural significance of the occasion and appreciating the efforts of the organizers and students.

As a part of the celebration, students lit beautiful diyas near the Sharada statue and along the college corridor creating a serene and spiritually uplifting atmosphere on the campus. The student Welfare Council organized Diya Making and Goodu Deepa competitions for PU students. A total of eight teams participated showcasing their creativity and traditional craftsmanship. The best entries were recognized, and attractive prize amounts were distributed during the inauguration ceremony to encourage and appreciate the efforts of the students.

Before the cultural programme, Student Welfare Mentor Dr. Ganesh Shetty U. addressed the gathering and spoke about the importance and cultural relevance of Karthika Sanje encouraging students to preserve and participate in traditional festivals. The event then proceeded with a vibrant cultural programmer, featuring energetic and graceful dance performances by the students. Their participation added color and liveliness to the celebration.

The program concluded on a joyful and festive note, leaving everyone with a sense of unity, devotion and cultural pride.
