Future Tech Pathways: Bridging Talent and Technology

The IT Association of Canara College organized an engaging session titled “FutureTech Pathways: Bridging Talent and Technology” on February 25, 2026, at 3:30 PM in Room No. 30 for its members.

The programme was compered by Ms. Sharaddha K, who ensured the smooth flow of the session. The event commenced with a warm welcome address delivered by Ms. Bhoomika, setting a positive tone for the programme.

The session featured Mr. Sharan Karanth, Lecturer at the Centre for PG Studies in Computer Application, as the resource person. He delivered an insightful and informative talk on emerging technologies, current industry expectations, and the importance of acquiring relevant skills to thrive in the IT sector. His presentation provided students with valuable guidance on career pathways and emphasized the need to stay updated with rapid technological advancements.

The programme was presided over by Mrs. Babitha S., Head of the Department of Computer Science and Applications. In her address, she encouraged students to actively participate in such initiatives and continuously enhance their technical knowledge.

The session concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Ms. Krithika, who expressed gratitude to the resource person, dignitaries, and participants for making the programme a success. A total of 33 students benefited from this informative session. Overall, the session was highly informative and beneficial, helping students gain clarity about future opportunities in the field of technology and inspiring them to prepare for the evolving demands of the industry.
