The seminar “Generating AI in Action: Transforming Real-World Applications” was organised by the Department of Computer Science and Applications on September 27, 2025. It was designed to provide students with an understanding of Generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) and its practical impact across multiple domains. The session will explore how AI is revolutionizing industries such as healthcare, education, business, and research by offering innovative, data-driven solutions. Participants will gain insights into the fundamentals of Generative AI, real-world use cases, ethical considerations, and emerging trends.
The seminar also encourages participants to envision and design AI-enabled solutions for current and future challenges.The session will be led by Mr. Vannur Swamy, an experienced resource person with expertise in Artificial Intelligence and its applications. With his rich knowledge and practical insights, he will guide the audience through the transformative potential of Generative AI, making complex concepts accessible and relatable.
Mr. Vannur Swamy effectively highlighted the fundamentals of Generative AI, its growing influence across diverse fields, and the ethical dimensions that accompany its use. Students gained valuable exposure to innovative applications, and future possibilities of AI-driven solutions.
The session not only broadened the understanding of Generative AI but also inspired students to think creatively about integrating AI into their own domains of study and work. The seminar concluded with an engaging interactive discussion, leaving the audience motivated to explore the transformative power of AI in shaping the future. There were total 97 students who benefited through this program.
