The Department of Computer Science and Applications, Canara College, Mangalore organized A Two day workshop on Full Stack Development on 24th and 25th November 2025 at Computer Lab 4 from 9:30 A,M. to 12:30 P.M. The objective of this workshop was to provide students with hands-on experience and practical exposure to both front-end and back-end development technologies.
The sessions were facilitated by Ms. Prerana, IT Trainer and Full Stack Developer from VARMATRIX, An Advanced IoT and AIML Institute, Balmatta, Mangalore. She provided useful information on Full stack Development and technologies involved in it. She built awareness about real-world applications and motivated students to explore career opportunities on Full Stack Development. Ms. Sneha, Ms. Shravya & Mr. Dakshath Full Stack Developers from VarMatrix handled the practical session.
Students showed enthusiastic participation throughout the session, engaging actively in the practical session. The event was convened by Mrs. Babitha S, Head Department of Computer Science and Applications, who coordinated the programme effectively and ensured its smooth execution. A total of 112 students from the BCA stream actively participated in the session, gaining valuable technical knowledge.
This initiative encouraged students to explore cloud technologies, bridging the gap between academic learning and industry-oriented skills. By providing hands-on training and exposure to real-world technologies, the program empowered students with practical skills essential for their professional growth.
