WORKSHOP ON “STRONGER TOGETHER: BUILDING RESILIENCE IN TEAMS”

The Department of Business Administration organized a workshop on “Stronger Together: Building Resilience in Teams” on August 14, 2025. The session was designed to equip students with skills to face challenges collectively, strengthen team spirit, and foster a culture of mutual support. The resource person for the workshop was Mr. Dawn Prakash, Assistant Professor, SDM MBA, Mangaluru, who provided valuable insights on teamwork and resilience.

The workshop was conducted in an interactive and engaging manner. The resource person explained the significance of resilience in everyday life and emphasized how teamwork can make individuals stronger in the face of challenges. Students were encouraged to reflect on their personal strengths and align them with team goals. Through real-life examples, the importance of adaptability, mutual trust, and empathy in building strong teams was highlighted. Participants also explored techniques to manage stress, handle conflicts, and maintain a positive outlook during demanding situations.

The session blended theory with practical insights, making the learning experience meaningful and impactful. The workshop was highly beneficial in fostering teamwork, problem-solving skills, and resilience among students. It not only enriched their learning experience but also prepared them to become more effective and supportive team members in their academic and professional journeys. A total of 48 students benefitted from this workshop.

The workshop enhanced students’ understanding of resilience and the importance of teamwork in overcoming challenges. Participants gained practical strategies for stress management, adaptability, and conflict resolution, while also developing stronger bonds of trust and cooperation. Overall, the session motivated students to adopt a positive outlook and apply the learnings in their academic, personal, and professional lives. The workshop helped inculcate a strong value system and enhanced global competencies among the participants.
