The Department of Business Administration, in association with the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) of Canara College, Mangaluru, organized an interclass quiz competition on Startups and Entrepreneurs to foster entrepreneurial awareness and spirit among students.
The preliminary round of the quiz was conducted online via Google Forms on May 19, 2025, which saw an enthusiastic response from students across various departments. A total of 40 teams registered, out of which 15 top-performing teams were shortlisted based on their scores for the final round.
The grand finale of the quiz competition was held offline on May 22, 2025, on the college campus. The event was conducted by Mr.Vedanth Nayak of Final BBA and Mr. Sriram Bhat of Final B.Com. In an engaging manner with multiple rounds that tested participants’ knowledge on entrepreneurship, successful startups, government initiatives for startups, and current trends in the entrepreneurial ecosystem. The quiz aimed to enhance students’ understanding of innovation, startup culture, and the role of entrepreneurs in economic development. The finalists demonstrated commendable enthusiasm, competitive spirit, and teamwork throughout the event.
Winners were awarded certificates and prizes as a token of appreciation for their performance. The event was well-received by both participants and audience members and served as a motivating platform for aspiring entrepreneurs.
