Knowledge about stock market and Investment in stock market is crucial to prepare for future. Understanding the money management and risk management is quite necessary at the very tender age. Investment decisions can be a great way to accumulate wealth which will contribute to the self -development as well as to the economic growth.
To educate the BBA students especially about the investing techniques and the risk associated with it and to let them to know the various career opportunities in the stock market a seminar on “Investing in stock market” was organized on Thursday September 19, 2024, at the seminar Hall.
Mr.Cassin Rodrigues, Asst.professor, Yenepoya Institute of Arts, Science and Commerce was the resource person and the BBA students were the beneficiaries. A total of 50 students took part in the seminar. It was an interactive session. He discussed about the pros and cons of investing in securities, the role of stock markets in the economic growth of the economy and also stated the career opportunities like a broker, advisor, portfolio manager, research analyst, investment banker, relationship manager, professional investor, and trader etc., open for the graduates in the securities market.
