Career guidance The crowning fortune of a man is to born to some pursuit which finds him employment and happiness, whether it be to make baskets, or broadswords, or canals, or statues or songs. To help the students with relevant careers inspiration and guidance that is suitable to their personal needs including age, ability, attitudes and aptitudes. With this aim Department of Chemistry organized The career guidance programme on February 2, 2018 for the final year BSc students in seminar hall at 3pm. The resource person was Dr. Ronald Pinto, Former principal of St Aloysius college (Autonomous), Mangalore.
After the formal function he started off with a motivating phrase “Aim high for you will be never higher than your thought”. He touched upon various topics like campus interview, aptitude test, placement and interview techniques and many more. He explained in detail about the branches of science one can opt for higher studies .Most importantly he told the students how to present the CV / RESUME, how to attend an interview, common interview questions, team spirit etc. 80 III Bsc students were attended the program.
