November 10, 2025

As part of Swachhata Campaign 5.0, the NSS Units organized an E-Waste Collection Drivein the college from October 27 to November 10, 2025. The drive aimed to motivate students, faculty, and non-teaching staff to participate in reducing electronic waste pollution. An E-Waste Collection Bin was placed in front of the College Office for convenient disposal. Awareness was created through announcement and messages through academic mentors of their respective classes. Participants were encouraged to bring old or unused electronic items such as mobile phones, chargers, batteries, laptops, computers, printers, and other gadgets from their homes.

Throughout the campaign, students actively contributed by depositing various e-waste materials in the designated bin. The collected items were checked and stored safely. At the end of the drive, the e-waste was handed over to an authorized recycling agency for safe disposal.

  • Students and staff became more aware of the environmental hazards caused by improper disposal of e-waste.
  • The activity encouraged responsible recycling habits within the college community.
  • Strengthened the spirit of Swachhata and environmental responsibility among NSS volunteers
  • This activity strived to contribute to national development and inculcate a value system amongst the volunteers.
