Experiential Learning Programme: Visit to BNI Big Brands Expo 2025

M.Com students accompanied by faculty members, visited BNI Mangalore’s Big Brands Expo 2025 held at TMA Pai Convention Centre, Mangalore on October 11, 2025. The expo featured over 120 leading businesses operating across various sectors in Mangalore, providing a comprehensive platform for students to understand contemporary business practices and market dynamics. Students had the opportunity to interact directly with business owners, industry professionals, and entrepreneurs from diverse fields.

The visit enabled students to witness firsthand the operational strategies, marketing approaches, and business models employed by successful enterprises. Through engaging conversations and structured interactions with exhibitors, students gained valuable insights into the challenges and opportunities present in the current business environment. The exposure to multiple industries ranging from manufacturing to services broadened their understanding of the regional economic landscape and enhanced their awareness of potential career pathways and entrepreneurial possibilities. A total of 45 students participated in this experiential learning programme, which was coordinated by Mrs. Swathi Nayak, PG Coordinator, under the guidance of Dr. Premalatha V, Principal of the college, and Dr. Deepti Nayak, Administrator Officer of the college and additionally, 15 students volunteered at the expo, gaining hands-on experience in event management and organizational skills.
