Student welfare council organized 70th Republic day celebration in our college on January 26, 2020. The chief guest Hareesh Maambadi, editor, Vijaya Karnataka and Principal Dr. K. V. Malini were escorted to the dais by NCC cadets. The programme started with a prayer song followed by the welcome address and introduction of the chief guest.

The chief guest hoisted the Indian Tri-colour and in his speech he highlighted the importance of constitution and its unique features such as sovereign, socialist, secular, democratic and republic enshrined in the preamble of the constitution. Students showed their patriotism by singing the national anthem with passion.Prizes were distributed to the winners of elocution competition. Student welfare mentors were present on the occasion.Altogether 500 students and 100 staff members took part in the celebrations.
