The students of II Mcom of Canara College conducted an extension activity for the class IX students of Canara High School, Dongerkery, Mangaluru on the topic “Water Conservation” on October 17, 2019.
Conservation of Water has become an issue of vital concern today. The students stressed on the significance of water for life on earth. They depicted different ways in which water gets wasted due to negligent behaviour of people through a mime show. The students then explained the different methods of water conservation such as rain water harvesting, proper fixation of water taps and pipes, avoiding the use of showers etc.
