A power seminar on “Nurturing Graduates for Industry Readiness” was organised by Canara College in association with ICT academy on October 18, 2019 in the seminar hall for the M.Com. students. Mr. Dheeraj Shetty, JBF Petrochemicals Ltd., MSEZ, Mangaluru was the resource person.
He created awareness amongst the students on industry requirements, skill sets expected by the industry, updates on recent avenues in various industry sectors and Enlighted the students the ways to bridge the gap between industry and academia.Mrs. Seema Prabhu S., co -Ordinator of the seminar welcomed the guest. Mrs. Aparna Kamath, HOD of Post Graduate centre and Ms. Megha Kamat were present during the power seminar. It was a very interactive session. In this half day seminar 65 M.Com. students participated actively.
