The Department of Business Administration conducted a PTA Meeting for First Year BBA students on August 30, 2018, in the College Seminar Hall.
Welcoming the parents and gathering, Mr. Hardik P. Chauhan, Academic Class Advisor, presented a report which updated the parents about the class details, functioning of the system, co-curricular and extracurricular activities and participation, meeting the attendance requirements, adhering to the college rules and regulations, examination related aspects, library facilities, and SMS system. He also appealed to parents to be in touch with the college by meeting the faculty concerned at regular intervals, thus playing a vital role in their children’s learning needs.
Prof. Pushpalatha, Head of the Department, in her address identified the key roles of stakeholders and said parents are the connecting link between students, teachers and institutions.
Mr. Binod Kumar Dube and Mrs. CA Usha Kamath voluntarily agreed to represent the members of the PTA Executive Committee from the I BBA class. A couple of parents also shared their feedback and gave constructive suggestions. 65 parents attended the meeting.All the subject faculties were present for the meeting.Mrs. Laxmi Hegde, faculty of the department, proposed the vote of thanks.
