Guru Poornima was celebrated in the Seminar Hall on July 27, 2018 to commemorate the birth anniversary of the great sage Maharshi Vedavyasa. Dr. Meenakhsi Ramachandran, HOD of Kannada, Besant women’s college, was the Chief Guest and she spoke about the importance of the day. Principal Dr.K.V.Malini presided over the function. Student welfare officers, Mrs. Sandhya B, Dr. Bhuvana Ramachandran, Mrs. Anasuya, and all the staff members were present. The student council members were also present. 125 students participated in the programme.
