Session on “Soft Skills Development” for YRC volunteers by Dr. A. Siddiq

The Youth Red Cross in association with and Center for advance studies in Commerce & Management, Canara College, conducted A Workshop on Soft skill development at college seminar hall on August 30, 2017. Dr.A.Siddiq, Associate professor and Coordinator of Dept. of PG Studies in Commerce, University College, Mangalore was the resource person. He stressed the importance of soft skills and said, “Soft skills are a cluster of productive personality traits that characterize one’s relationships in a milieu. Soft skills training should begin for a person when he is a student, so that he can perform efficiently in his academic environment as well as in his future workplace.

An activity was conducted and a message was conveyed to the students at the end.In an interactive session students asked many questions and 35 students were benefited by the program. MS. Dhanya S Shet, the Programme Officer  of Youth Red Cross, Canara College Mangaluru welcomed the resource person and MS. Malathy compeered the programme.
