The inaugural function of students council 2012-13 was organised on 5th July 2012 at 3:30 PM.Smt Latha R. Kini,President of Kanara Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the First woman President of the chamber,inaugurated the council and gave a call to the students to develop a hunger for knowledge and work towards achieving their goals. Prof M. Satish Bhat, Principal, delivered the introductory note.Sri S.S.Kamath,President of CHS Association presided over the function. Dr. K.V Malini,SWO, administered the Oath of Serenity and service to the newly elected office bearers of Students’ Council. Prof. M. Manohar Shetty, SWO introduced the secretaries of various associations during the installation of office bearers by the chief guest Smt Latha R. Kini, Sri Maroor Shudhir Pai, Correspondent of the college, the President and the executive committee members of the alumni were present on the occasion. Mr. Prajwal Suvarna, President of Student Council welcomed the gathering.Ms. Prathvi U. Karkera , Vice President, proposed the Vote of Thanks and Ms. Reshma Aithal compered.
