A workshop on “Methodology of imparting Value education” was conducted for the faculty on 7th June 2012.The workshop was inaugurated by Sri S.S Kamath, the President of Canara High School Association. In his inaugural speech he stated “Values are Priceless whereas Valuables are priced”.Sri Raghotham and Sri Abhijeet Shenoy from Seek Foundation, Bangalore were the resource persons. More than 55 teachers participated and learnt the methodologies and skills required to impart value education.Sri Maroor Sudhir Pai, the correspondent of Canara College, graced the occasion. The Principal Prof. M. Satish Bhat, introduced the theme of the workshop and introduced the resource persons.Mr Nevil Naronha,staff secretary welcomed the gathering.Mrs JayaBharathi,HOD of Computer Science, proposed the Vote of Thanks and Smt Dejamma, Dept of Commerce, compered the programme.
