The Career guidance Cell in association with Sierra Learning Academy Mangalore organised an educative programme on the topic“Career Pathways in the Age of AI- Exploring opportunities in Marketing, Finance, HR and Design thinking” on Thursday, April 02, 2026 at Lecture Hall No.6 in the Canara College, Mangaluru.
Mr. Deepith Kundar, the Head of Digital Media and Creative Technologies at Sierra Learning Academy served as the facilitator for the session. He discussed the challenges posed by AI and explained how students can effectively address them by pursuing skill-based courses. He also highlighted various courses, certifications, internships, and tools offered by Sierra Learning Academy that can help students build AI-related competencies. Additionally, he emphasized that skill certification courses add significant value to undergraduate degree qualifications.
The session was highly interactive, with active participation from the students. A total of 58 students attended and benefited from the session.
