The Department of English, Canara College, under the initiative of IQAC, organized a workshop on “Strategies for Professional Communication” on October 28, 2025, at 1:30 p.m. in the Seminar Hall. The session was conducted by Mrs. Sandhya Nayak, Retired Professor of St. Agnes College and Area Director of Toastmasters.
Principal Dr. Premalatha V. graced the occasion along with IQAC Co-ordinator Mrs. Anasuya Bhagavath, Head of the Department Mrs. Rithika S. Das, and the department staff members. The workshop aimed at equipping students with essential skills for effective professional communication and self-presentation.
Through interactive discussions and practical examples, the resource person emphasized the importance of clarity, confidence, and etiquette in communication. Students actively participated and benefited from the valuable insights shared during the session.
A total of 65 students participated in the workshop.
