The Departments of English, Kannada, Hindi, Sanskrit, and Political Science jointly organised the Founders’ Day Celebration on November 19, 2025, at 9:15 a.m. in the College Quadrangle. The programme began with a prayer and unfurling of the college flag, followed by a welcome address by Ms Vanisha C. and a song dedicated to the Founder by the college choir.
A total of 5 students participated. The stage was graced by Principal Dr Premalatha V., Sri M. Gururaj Shet, President of the Canara Alumni Association, Administrative Officer Dr Deepti Nayak, and Evening College Principal Smt. Anila Kamat.
The Chief Guest, Mr B. Guruprasad Shetty, Advocate & Notary, spoke about the life and ideals of Ammembal Subba Rao Pai, encouraging students to follow his values. Principal Dr Premalatha V. also highlighted his contributions and vision in her presidential remarks. As a heartfelt token, Yutika J. Karkera and Vamshi presented a hand-drawn portrait of the Founder to the guest.
Ms Aisiri Aithal compered the event, and Ms Shwetha Bhat delivered the Vote of Thanks.
