An educational initiative was organized by the students of the IT Association Manya, Abina, Adheena, Prathiksha, and Nishmitha, who conducted an Extension Activity on “Staying Safe in the Digital World” on February 02, 2026, at Ambika English Medium School, Kasaragod.
The programme commenced with a welcome speech delivered by Prathiksha, who introduced the topic and emphasized the importance of digital safety in today’s technology-driven world.
The detailed explanation on the topic was delivered by Manya and Abina. They elaborated on the pros and cons of the digital world, various types of cybercrimes, cybersecurity measures, and social media safety practices. The session enabled students to understand the benefits and risks associated with digital platforms and the importance of responsible online behaviour.
To make the session more engaging, an interactive activity was conducted by Adheena, which encouraged active participation among the students and reinforced the concepts discussed during the session.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Nishmitha, who expressed gratitude to the school authorities, teachers, and students for their support and cooperation. A total of 5 students actively participated in conducting the programme.
