The Training, Internship, and Placement Cell of Canara College, Mangaluru, organized a session on “Industry Relevant Skills in Data Analytics” for postgraduate students on November 6, 2025, at the College Seminar Hall. The resource persons for the session were Mr. Anoop R. Sanil, Director, and Mr. Kiran N. Rao, Head of Students Onboarding, Career Ladder Technologies Pvt. Ltd., Chennai. The speakers provided an in-depth overview of the data analytics domain, highlighting the essential technical skills, tools, and industry practices that are highly valued in the corporate sector. They emphasized the importance of analytical thinking, data interpretation, and continuous upskilling in emerging technologies. The interactive session helped students gain clarity about career prospects and the expectations of employers in the data analytics field. The programme received an enthusiastic response and proved to be highly informative and career-oriented for the participants. A total of 82 students from II M.Com and II MCA actively participated, making it an informative and interactive learning experience for all. Mr. Karthik M., Executive Director, Career Ladder Technologies Pvt. Ltd., Chennai, successfully conducted a technical demonstration. Mrs. Shailaja Kumary T.G. and Mrs. Shwetha Pai, Conveners of the TIP Cell, were present. Ms. Ankitha, II M.Com, compered the programme.
