The five-day research workshop was conducted daily at 2:00 PM and commenced on October 13, 2025, with a pre-workshop assessment conducted by Mrs. Swathi Nayak, PG Coordinator, M.Com Department, to evaluate students’ existing understanding of research concepts. Day 1 featured Ms. Akshaya Pai, Lecturer in Commerce, Trisha Group of Institutions, Katpadi, who delivered an insightful session on Research Fundamentals, establishing the foundational knowledge required for conducting academic research. Day 2, held on October 14, 2025, focused on Questionnaire Design, expertly handled by Ms. Sushmita, Lecturer in Commerce, Shree Devi College, Mangaluru, enhancing students’ ability to design effective research instruments.
The workshop continued with Day 3 on October 15, 2025, where Ms. Shrinidhi Shenoy, Lecturer in Commerce, Govinda Dasa College, Mangaluru, conducted an engaging session on Conceptual Framework, deepening students’ understanding of research structure and theoretical grounding. Day 4, held on October 16, 2025, featured Mrs. Shwetha Pai, Faculty, M.Com Department, Canara College, who guided students through the critical process of Objective Setting, helping them articulate clear and focused research objectives. The workshop culminated on October 17, 2025, with Day 5 dedicated to Report Writing, led by Mrs. Sneha Pai, Faculty, M.Com Department, Canara College, equipping students with essential skills to present research findings with clarity, coherence, and academic rigor. A total of 30 M.Com final year students actively participated in this workshop.
