The Mathematics Department organized an activity titled “Exploring Mathematical Concepts Through PPT Presentation” for the final year B.Sc. students on May 27th, 2025. The activity aimed to enhance students’ understanding of mathematical concepts and their ability to communicate them effectively through collaborative PowerPoint presentations.
A total of 14 students participated, forming 7 teams. The topic was assigned two weeks prior, and students were encouraged to select a mathematical concept of their interest and present it in depth. Each team was allotted 15 minutes for their presentation, including a question-and-answer session with both participants and faculty members.
The event provided a valuable platform for students to delve deeper into their chosen mathematical topics, improve their presentation skills, and engage in constructive academic discussion. The interactive nature of the session encouraged active learning, critical questioning, and peer engagement, making the activity both educational and enjoyable. It was suggested that similar activities be conducted regularly to further enrich the academic experience.
The entire event was thoughtfully planned and effectively executed by Mrs. Keerthi K., Head of the Department, and Mrs. Poornima, Assistant Professor, under proper guidance and coordination.
