The Centre for Postgraduate Studies in Commerce successfully organized a programme titled “Mock Interview – Preparing for What Comes Next” on April 11, 2025, at 10:00 AM, designed for the students of second M.Com., the event aimed to prepare them for real-world interview scenarios. Mr. Karthik Alva, founder of Thrust Academy, served as the resource person, conducting individual mock interviews for all 35 students. Through this interactive session, students learned how to present themselves confidently during interviews and handle questions effectively. Mr. Alva also provided personalized feedback on areas requiring improvement, fostering their professional growth. Additionally, Ms. Shwetha Pai, Ms. Sneha Pai, and Ms. Megha, faculty members from the M.Com department, played a pivotal role as part of the interview panel, contributing their insights to enhance the students’ experience.
Under the coordination of Mrs. Swathi Nayak, PG Coordinator, the event emphasized the core values of promoting technological use for a greener environment and eliciting a quest for excellence. The students gained practical exposure to interview techniques and understood the significance of discipline, communication skills, and professionalism. The programme successfully bridged the gap between academic learning and real-world expectations, leaving students better equipped for future endeavors.
