The Centre for Postgraduate Studies in Commerce, in collaboration with ICT Academy, organized a Power Seminar titled “Interview Skills” on April 02, 2025, at 10:00 AM for final-year M.Com students. The seminar featured Mr. Karthik Alva, Founder of Thrust Academy, as the resource person, who shared valuable insights on interview skills and grooming. He emphasized critical aspects such as attention to detail during interviews, effective preparation strategies, and overall presentation, equipping students with practical knowledge to excel in interview settings. Each session provided the students with actionable tips and techniques to boost their confidence and readiness for professional opportunities.
The program was initiated and coordinated by Mrs. Swathi Nayak, PG Coordinator of the M.Com Department, under the esteemed leadership of Principal Dr. Premalatha V. and Vice Principal Dr. Kalpana Prabhu J. Dr. Premalatha V., in her presidential address, highlighted the significance of mastering interview skills for career success. Ms. Hruthika skilfully managed the event as the Master of Ceremony. With 31 students participating, the seminar proved to be an enriching experience, preparing them for future endeavours and enabling them to approach interviews with competence and confidence.
