The Centre for PG Studies in Commerce, in association with the Central Depositary Services India Ltdorganized an ‘Investor’s Education and Awareness Programme’ on March 03, 2022 at 11.00 a.m. Mr.C.S. Harisha, Regional Head- Karnataka, CDSL was the resource person for the programme. He said “Investment in stocks and shares has grown substantially in the last two years. The presence of several financial assets provides ample opportunities to invest. But it is possible only when investors have sufficient knowledge about financial assets.” He also described how CDSL works and what role it plays in the stock market.
The objective of the programme was to improve students’ understanding of various financial assets. The Principal, Dr. Premalatha V., presided over the event. 40 students participated in the programme. Ms. Deepthi Rao of I M Com welcomed everyone, Ms. Shilpa of II M Com gave the vote of gratitude, and Ms. Ananya of II M Com hosted the event
