The Centre for PG Studies in Computer Applications, Canara College, organized an insightful session on “Career Launchpad – First Step to Professional Development” on November 17, 2025. Mr. Sharan Karanth, Assistant Professor, Centre for PG studies in Computer Application(MCA) was the resource person.
The session focused on building a strong professional presence by guiding students in creating effective LinkedIn profiles and ATS-friendly resumes using tools like Canva, rx.resume and Resume.io. They were also introduced to Job Scan for resume optimization and GitHub for showcasing technical skills and projects.
The programme helped students understand essential platforms and techniques to enhance their employability and prepare for future career opportunities. Totally 55 students were present during the session.
