The Human Rights Cell organized a special talk on “The role of Journalists in the protection of Human rights” on June 06, 2023.The resource person Sri. R. C Bhat, Journalist, Vijaya Karnataka daily, addressed the students on “The role of a journalist in the protection of human rights and by protecting our rights we will be concerned with the problems of the society thereby protecting the rights of others.” The programme was presided by Mrs. Vani U.S., Department of Kannada. 53 students actively participated in the talk. This activity strived to inculcate values such as contribution to national development and a quest for excellence.
