Flowers are a gift of nature. To display the beauty of this nature’s gift, a flower arrangement competition was organized by the Fine Arts Association on April 19, 2023 on the eve of the 50th annual day celebration. This activity aimed to provide a platform for the students to exhibit their talents and creativity. 10 students from different programs enthusiastically participated in this competition. Each team comprised two members. The magnificent flower arrangements were commendable.
Ms. Madhushree, Head, Department of Botany and Mrs. Laveena Sunitha Norohna Asst. Professor, Dept of Commerce were the judges. This event was judged based on the criteria of Arrangement of flowers, Neatness and Creativity. Mr. Arjun Bhakta and Mr. Thrivikram Shenoy from I B.Com B won first prize and Ms.Nikitha Pai and Nikshitha from I B.Com A won second prize in the competition for their best arrangement which captured the eyes of judges.
Mrs. Jayashree Shetty, Convener of the Association, Mrs Keerthi Alva, Mrs Soujanya D., Mrs Kavitha Ganesh, Mrs. Laxmi Hegde and Mrs. Aditi Nayak Co-convenors, coordinated the activity.
