Drug Awareness Program

On the occasion of the drug awareness program organized by Canara College Rovers and Rangers on April 10, 2023, the students of the association were encouraged to express their views on drug abuse and addiction through essay writing and drawings.

The essay writing competition was exclusively to members of Rovers and Rangers, and the topic for the competition was “The Impact of Drug Abuse on Society.” The students were asked to write a maximum of 500 words on the topic, and the essays were evaluated based on their creativity, relevance, and originality. 20 Students enthusiastically participated in the competition, and their essays reflected their deep understanding of the issue of drug abuse.

The drawings competition, on the other hand, was aimed at encouraging the students to express their views on drug abuse through art. The students were asked to create a drawing related to the theme of drug abuse, and the best drawings were selected based on their creativity and originality.

The essays were well-written and reflected the students’ understanding of the dangers of drug abuse. The drawings, on the other hand, were creative and expressive, and they effectively conveyed the message of the drug awareness program.

Overall, the essays and drawings submitted by the students were a great addition to the drug awareness program. They effectively conveyed the message of the program and demonstrated the students’ deep understanding of the issue of drug abuse. It is hoped that such initiatives will continue to encourage students to express their views on important social issues and create awareness about them.
