On October 2, 2025, the Rovers and Rangers association of the college observed Gandhi Jayanti and Lal Bahadur Shastri Jayanti in the seminar hall. Mrs. Ganesh Shetty HOD of Political Science, delivered a keynote speech emphasizing the importance of this day. He highlighted Mahatma Gandhi’s role in India’s independence movement and his legacy. He also spoke about Lal Bahadur Shastri’s contributions, including his iconic ‘Jai Jawan Jai Kisan’ slogan.
Dr. Premalatha V, Principal of the college, gave a presidential remark, sharing an example of Lal Bahadur Shastri’s simple life. She emphasized the importance of humanity and treating others with respect, even in positions of power.
IQAC coordinator Mrs. Anasuya Bhagwath and Staff Welfare Secretary Mrs. Vani Purshotham were present. Ms. Vaishnavi of II B. Com C concluded the vote of thanks, and Miss. Neeshma Fathima of II BCom C was the Master of the ceremony. The program began with a prayer by Miss Greeshma, Sanvika, and Prathiksha of II BCom B. All teaching and non-teaching staff attended the program. The programme witnessed 80 staff of the college and 10 students of Rovers and Rangers.
