On account of College Day and Golden Jubilee Celebration of Canara College, Department of Kannada conducted an Elocution Competition for its students on April 05, 2023 in lecture hall no. 1. The topic was ‘Namma Samskrutiya Ulivu Namma Kaiyalli’.
Dr. Prashanth Bhat, Faculty, M.Com Department and Mr. Pramod Kumar, Head, Department of English were the judges of the competition. 12 students actively participated in the competition.
Ms. Kshama Kunder of II B.Sc bagged the first prize. Mr. Parashurama U. of III B.Com and Ms. Keerthana of II B.Sc secured the second place. Ms. Disha of II B.Sc won the third prize. Mrs. Vani U. S., Head, Department of Kannada and Mrs. Shailaja P., Faculty, Department of Kannada were also present.
