The Centre for Post Graduate Studies in Commerce organized a session on Career opportunity in Insurance Sector, for the students on January 06, 2023.
The resource person was Mr. Damodar Baliga, Area Manager of Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance and alumnus of the college. He stressed the need of insurance in our lives. During the interactive session with students, he discussed the various types of insurance plans, modes of premium payment, and programs, etc. He also highlighted opportunities in the insurance industry.
Ms. Chethana welcomed the guest; Ms. Chaithra proposed the vote of thanks and Ms. Annapoorna compered the program. 40 students actively participated in the session. Dr. Prashanth Bhat, Assistant Professor, coordinated the program. The session aimed at fulfilling the core values such as fostering global competencies and human excellence among students and eliciting quest for excellence as a permanent commitment.
