A Tech Talk on Robotic Process Automation was organized by the IT Association on February 19, 2022 in Smt. Ratna S Shenoy Memorial Seminar Hall at 12.30 PM.
Mr. Prathik P Mallya, Software Engineer, TCS was the resource person. In his talk, he gave an insight on what is Robotic Process Automation. He explained in detail various types of automation, factors to consider before automating processes, advantages, RPA Life Cycle and tools that could be used for Robotic Process Automation. He also gave a live demonstration of how manual work could be automated using the UI Path Orchestrator Framework, a most widely used RPA tool. After his address, the members of the association sought clarifications for their queries.
Dr. Premalatha V, in her presidential address said “Innovations make the world a better place to live and innovation is directly or indirectly driven by technology”. She appreciated students for taking the first step towards innovation that is participating in the program and learning the latest technology.
IT Association Conveners, Mrs. Prathima V Baliga and Mrs. ShailajaKumary T G, Mrs. Jayabharathi K. P., HoD, Department of Computer Science & Applications and other faculty members were present.
Ms. G. Chaithra Shetty, Joint Secretary of the IT Association welcomed the guest and the gathering. Ms. Pavitra, Member, IT association proposed the vote of thanks and Ms. Sahana, Member, IT association compered the programme. Altogether 20 members participated in the programme.
