An extension activity on the topic “Road Safety” was conducted by the students of II M.Com of Canara College on Nov 14, 2019 for the students of Canara High School, Urwa, Mangalore at 2.45 PM.
The students enacted a mime which stressed upon the Do’s and Dont’s while people are Walking, Riding/Driving. It enhanced the importance of road safety at various situations like crossing the road, railway pass safety, drink and drive consequences etc.
Ms. Shwetha and Ms. Shivani then explained the need for road safety and the rules and regulations to be followed in order to avoid road accidents and be safe.
It was an interactive and an informative session. The students of the Canara High School as well as that of M Com were equally benefitted.
