June 17, 2019

Talent determines what one can do. Motivation determines how much one is willing to do, but attitude towards job determines how well one can do it. Therefore, Efficiency and effectiveness at job are the key drivers of values at any workplace.

Understanding this, the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of the College with its annual theme for the academic year 2019-20 “Changing with Times”, organized half day Efficiency Enhancement Workshop on the theme “Building Capacity, Enhancing Efficiency and Accomplishing Effectiveness” for the Administrative and Support Staff of our College and the Sister Concern Institutions on Monday, June 17, 2019 from 9:30 AM – 1:00 PM at College Seminar Hall. Prof. Dr. Sudhir Raj K., Professor and Corporate Trainer, Dept. of Business Administration, JKSHIM, Nitte., was the workshop facilitator.

Dr. Sudhir Raj K., during the session highlighted that the members of staff must work with focused intention to fulfill the vision and mission of the Institution. Value based client oriented service should be delivered; commitment with total attentiveness of mind on day to day work to deliver quality services to the customer is the need of the hour. Hence, ‘Service Quality’, ‘Domination of time’, will certainly enhance our work efficiency and will surely enable the staff to effectively discharge their duties for the development and progress of the Institution. Hence, the administrative and support staff need to inculcate these techniques in their work culture and that will get them a sense of satisfaction in their work life.

The workshop seemed to be really informative, enriching and fruitful evolving interactions by the participants with the facilitator. A number of take away were shared by the facilitator which can enable them to serve better, perform with greater efficiency and ultimately result in effective service delivery
