The Centre for Post Graduate Studies in Commerce conducted an orientation programme for the First M Com students on August 20, 2018, in the Sudheendra Auditorium, Canara Girls’ High School, Dongerkery,
Mangaluru.
The Chief Guest for the occasion was C A Vaman Kamath, Alternate Treasurer, CHS Association, Mangaluru. The Principal of the college, Dr K V Malini, presided over the programme.
The Chief Guest, Sri Vaman Kamath, stressed the importance of developing communication skills, which are very essential at every stage of one’s career. He also emphasized the necessity of developing the ability to apply the theoretical aspects in the practical world among students. 43 students participated in the programme.
