A Seminar was organised in our college for First M.Com students on September 9, 2017. The resource person was Mr. Ganesh Hegde, Directorate of Revenue Intelligence, Mangaluru.
Mr. Hegde spoke about Goods and Service Tax that came into effect in India on 1-7-2017. He explained about the features of GST and also regarding the GST Council. The Resource person also stressed on the benefits that GST will have on the country’s economy. 38 students participated in the program.
