Science leaning goals of laboratory experiences including enhancing the science subject matter, increasing the understanding of the complexity and empirical work, developing practical skills in school students, Chemistry department in association with Science Association organized an outreach program “Catch them young” from December 01 to 07, 2016.
There is a need to take teaching beyond the class rooms to bring about attitudinal changes among students. Hence 69 Students of final B.Sc were devided in different groups and visited high schools in a rural area were there is no laboratory for school students. To develop skill in scientific experimentation list of experiments were demonstrated to high school students. Nearly 12 Chemical experiments were demonstrated which created interest and curiosity in Chemical science among school childrens.
