An orientation programme was conducted by the department for the First M Com students on August 26, 2016, in the college Seminar hall.
The chief guest was C A Vaman Kamath, Alternate treasurer, CHS Association, Mangaluru.
The chief Guest, Sri Vaman Kamath, began his address with narrating the 125 years’ history of Canara Institutions. He stressed on the importance of developing communication skills which is very essential in every stage of one’s career. 42 students participated in the programme.
